Gino Mulè Stagno (b. 1972) is an Educational Psychologist by
profession. He read for a BA (Hons) degree in psychology and graduated in 1995. During the following year he gained a Post-graduate
Certificate in Education (PGCE). He subsequently taught at St. Paul’s Bay Primary School
for 3 years after which he followed a two-year full-time Masters degree in Educational Psychology at the University of Malta, where
he graduated in 2001.
Gino began learning the pianoforte
at the age of eight and the organ at the age of 12. He formed part of the Collegium Musicum choir since 1985. During the same
year he also started as a member of the Jubilate Deo choir. He accompanied the Collegium Musicum choir on the organ at St. John’s Co-Cathedral on numerous occasions, both during
Masses and during Christmas and Easter concerts. In May 2001 he also accompanied a 100-strong choir and a brass ensemble during
the beatification of Fr. George Preca, Ignatius Falzon and Sr. Adeodata Pisani. He is currently attending the final part of
a three-year diploma in Sacred Music at the University of Malta, with a specialisation in organ performance.
